Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Clinical Researcher & Teaching Fellow (King's College London)
Massimo is the founder and main practitioner at Surrey Hills Physiotherapy.
He trained as a physiotherapist at the University of King’s College London gaining a first class honours degree.
Massimo has specialist knowledge and skills for the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and rheumatological conditions. He worked for 4 years at the United Bristol and Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trusts, and has several years experience of private practice in the musculoskeletal and sports injury clinic of a local private hospital setting. He has also worked with sports clubs and both amateur and professional sports people in the local area.
Massimo is committed to continuing professional development and an evidence-based approach for the effective management of the individual. He has undertaken numerous post-graduate courses including spinal mobilisation and manipulation, and upper & lower limb injury rehabilitation. He is also the founder of the Surrey Musculoskeletal Network, which provides professional development for clinicians with an interest in musculoskeletal medicine. Massimo is specialist trained in the use of acupuncture for the management of pain and musculoskeletal dysfunction and is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
From 2006 to 2010 Massimo gained a PhD from King’s College London in knee injury rehabilitation. The completion of his doctorate has enabled him to develop excellent working relationships with orthopaedic consultants and therapeutic clinicians both in London and the local area.
Massimo is also a Teaching Fellow in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy for both undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapists at King’s College London and has lectured both nationally and internationally.
Massimo is married to Helen and lives in Dorking with their three children.

Public transport: The nearest rail stations are Dorking Main, Dorking Deepdene and Dorking West (each approximately 10 minutes walk away).
By Road: The practice is situated in Dorking town centre on South Street which is a continuation of the main High Street and the A25.
Parking is available on site.
